The Aspergers in Girls Workshop held on 26 May 2012 in Milford was well attended. There were two main speakers, one of whom was a young woman with Asperger’s who is currently in an apprenticeship and a mother of a daughter with Asperger’s who was instrumental in setting up one of the few Girls AS groups in England. These women delivered very compassionate and informative talks. It is our hope that a Girls Forum and Parent Support Group for Girls will be kicked off in the Autumn 2012.
“Thank you so much for the valuable information. At last I feel I am not alone!”
Watch this space for forthcoming workshops on this topic.
